Model Database

ASTOS supports the definition of databases which define models for a wide range of problems. For example, a user-defined database for a specific vehicle.

ASTOS Model Database

ASTOS comes with its own model database containing models of the Ariane 4 and 5 as well as of the TSTO vehicle Saenger. Simplified models for the Proton, Rockot, Delta II, Longmarch and H2 vehicle are also available. The aereodynamic and propulsive models of these vehicles are more or less for testing purpose.

Besides the vehicle components, ASTOS provides a database of various planet, atmospheres and wind models as well as of many launch and landing sites which are ready to use.

ASTOS Mission Templates

Not a real database, but a set of templates is provided by all ASTOS test cases. This way complete problem setups for a wide range of missions can be copied for further analysis and to setup new missions.
